Paedophile Thomas Sheridan, 33, of Plough Road, Wellington, was apprehended when law enforcement authorities visited his residence on November 9, 2021, and confiscated his mobile device.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court, he acknowledged guilt for four offences: three counts of producing indecent images of children in categories A, B, and C, and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
Danny Smith, for the prosecution, stated that Thomas Sheridan possessed 43 category A photographs, of which 12 were readily available and 31 were inaccessible.
Thomas Sheridan possessed two accessible category B photographs, 29 inaccessible category B images, and 15 inaccessible category C images.
The court was informed that some photographs depicted youngsters as young as four years old being sexually molested, tortured and raped by adults.
Mr. Smith stated that the children’s ages in the photographs varied from four to twelve years.
