A paedophile couple, Scott Geraghty & Chloe Dixon, who sexually abused a child and caused “immeasurable pain and suffering” has been imprisoned for 21 years total.

Merseyside residents Scott Geraghty, 31, and Chloe Dixon, 26, were sentenced yesterday for their horrific 2020 crimes.

Following his conviction of 12 charges involving sexual activity in the presence of a child and encouraging a 13–15-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity, Scott Geraghty was imprisoned for 11 years and six months.

Following his conviction on ten charges, including possession of obscene photos of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a minor, and communicating sexually with a kid, Chloe Dixon was imprisoned for nine years and six months.

Their crimes were discovered following the victim’s courageous disclosure to authorities to indicate the couple.

Following her conviction of ten charges, Merseyside 26-year-old Chloe Dixon was imprisoned for nine years and six months.

Following his conviction of twelve charges, Merseyside resident Scott Geraghty, 31, was imprisoned for eleven years and six months.

Also issued with a Restrain Order to better safeguard their victim, both were directed to sign the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.

‘Caused tremendous agony and suffering to their victim and her family,’ the police said about Scott Geraghty and Chloe Dixon’s actions.

‘I would want to commend the victim’s strength, patience and bravery during this long and complicated inquiry,’ Detective Sergeant Rebecca Igglesden said following the sentence.
