Child rapist Peter Edwards attributed his misfortunes to his victim, claiming she “took everything” from him.

Following his conviction on 12 counts of rape, the unrepentant paedophile expressed his ‘hatred’ for his victim.

The 40-year-old paedophile, Peter Edwards, sexually assaulted the youngster multiple times over a two-year period in Warrington, asserting that she was “assisting” him.

The girl experienced melancholy and anxiety to such a degree that she required transportation to the emergency department due to acute anxiety attacks.

Peter Edwards, residing on Kenworthy Lane in Wythenshawe, Manchester, with no prior convictions, was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
