Paedophile PC Jo Lavender, 42, stationed in Leeds District, has been charged with one count of rape and is scheduled to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Friday, 4 October.
The incident pertains to an off-duty crime involving an adult female that occurred in January of this year.
PC Lavender, of Orchard Grove in Castleford, had been suspended from duty since an investigation by the force’s Professional Standards Directorate got under way, according to West Yorkshire Police.

A Paedophile police officer, Jo Lavender, previously charged with raping a woman is now facing further accusations for the rape of three girls.
West Yorkshire Police Constabulary Paedophile Jo Lavender, 43, was arraigned in court in October on charges of raping a woman above the age of 16, stemming from an alleged occurrence in Castleford, his residence, on 21 January of the previous year.
The authorities have now verified that he has been charged with five further counts of raping two other women and two counts of indecent assault on a minor under the age of 14.
PC Jo Lavender was not on duty during the purported events [WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT?], which are all classified as “non-recent,” according to the police agency [NON-RECENT BUT HE STILL MUST HAVE BEEN IN THE POLICE FORCE OR THEY WOULD SAY IT WAS BEFORE HE JOINED].
He has been suspended from duty since the commencement of an investigation by the Professional Standards Directorate of West Yorkshire Police.
PC Jo Lavender is scheduled to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
