Paul Newbury paedophile rapist sex offender teacher Wood Green

After confessing to storing Class A drugs and more than 2,000 sex abuse photographs of children, Paul Newbury Wood Green Paedophile Teacher was imprisoned.

A court heard Paul Newbury, 50, from Wood Green, use crystal meth and view child pornography online.

Terminated initially last year, the ex-associate head teacher of Acland Burghley School in Camden routinely viewed, discussed, and shared child sex abuse photos via the Zoom video conferencing tool.

The vile sex criminal even informed one user he showed “all ages” interest.

On the Telegram secret messaging service, Paul Newbury also belonged to many closed paedophile groups where he shared and discussed child abuse material with hundreds of other people globally.

Paul Newbury recruited other paedophiles to join obscene organisations under names like Love Boys.

October 2017 saw undercover agents enter the chat rooms and capture Paul Newbury seated naked on his sofa, taking drugs as he watched a live video of a female being assaulted.

He went by “North London,” a pseudonym National Crime Agency detectives traced to his Wood Green residence.

Paul Newbury, who was then employed at Acland Burghley School, was arrested by NCA officials in February 2018.

Two grammes of crystal meth, 717mg of cocaine and two glass burning pipes were discovered by Paul Newbury’s house police during a search.

When authorities questioned Paul Newbury, he admitted having Class A controlled narcotics for personal use, which he consumed while seeing the internet abuse.

On May 23, 2019, he was condemned to 28 months in jail at Southwark Crown Court.
