A 63-year-old paedophile, Paul Mannion, from Warrington was sentenced to eight years in prison for a campaign of egregious abuse that occurred in Widnes during the 1970s.
His victim recounted certain forms of abuse occurring “regularly” on no fewer than 10 occasions apiece, all when he was under the age of 10.
Paul Mannion pleaded guilty to eight charges. including sexual assault, soliciting a minor under 13 to participate in sexual acts, and one count of rape.
