A 50-year-old Grantham Paedophile Nicholas Manning who committed sexual assault against a child has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Nicholas Manning, previously residing in Grantham, attended Lincoln Crown Court for his sentencing on Friday, 16 August, following his conviction at a previous hearing.
He was found guilty of committing sexual assault by penetration and two counts of sexual contact during an incident in January 2024.
Nicholas Manning provided his underage victims with alcoholic beverages before exploiting them while they were in a susceptible condition.
Nicholas Manning will now be sentenced to 11 years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
Detective Constable Stewart Humm anticipates that the outcome of the investigation will provide Nicholas Manning’s victim with a feeling of resolution. He also cautioned potential wrongdoers that they would exhaust all possible avenues of inquiry to apprehend them.
The DC stated that there is absolutely no tolerance for this abhorrent conduct in Lincolnshire and that every possible effort will be made to ensure those responsible for such acts are held accountable.
“I express my gratitude to the case victim for demonstrating exceptional bravery and courage, collaborating with the law enforcement agency to provide us with the necessary information to proceed with a conviction.”
Due to their formidable strength, a problematic individual has been apprehended and is no longer a threat to society.
“I would also like to express my admiration for the officers and staff who contributed to this case, as we would not have achieved the current outcome without their diligent efforts.”
