The paedophile, Melissa Wilson, identified in court files as Paul Wilson, also known as Melissa Wilson, successfully circumvented security measures at Liverpool Central Library and Toxteth Library.
Following the establishment of library accounts, the 34-year-old frequented the library “approximately every other day” and utilised a Russian search engine “linked to the retrieval of illicit files”.
Melissa Wilson subsequently admitted to the offences committed over 86 days between July 10 and October 23, 2019, in a letter attributed to her alter ego, Dan Thompson.
Melissa Wilson acknowledged violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
She has six prior convictions for 39 offences and has been incarcerated multiple times for possessing obscene photos of children and violating court restrictions.
Melissa Wilson was incarcerated for a duration of two years and eight months.
