Marcel Romanowski, of Cheney Road, Banbury, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on February 4 charged with several child sex offences.
The 26-year-old, Marcel Romanowski, has been charged with being an adult meeting a girl under the age of 16 following grooming, causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, engaging in sexual communication with a child, and being an offender over 18 engaging in sexual activity with a girl.
It is alleged the offences took place earlier this year against a complainant who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Marcel Romanowski is now due in Basildon Combined Court on March 7 for his next hearing.
It is understood the case could go to trial.
