Jordan Emms, a paedophile from Barrow, has been sentenced to three years in prison for child sex offences.
Jordan Emms, 38, was sentenced today at Preston Crown Court for sexual assault by touching and for forcing or persuading a juvenile to engage in sexual activity.
A jury convicted Jordan Emms of all charges following a six-day trial at Preston Crown Court last month.
The charges occurred in Ulverston and pertain to events involving a single victim between 2018 and 2020.
Jordan Emms is required to register as a sex offender.
Detective Sergeant Mike Wallace, of Cumbria police, said: “Jordan Emms maintained that he had not committed these abhorrent offences, however a jury concluded that he was guilty.
“I hope the outcome of this trial, and sentence given to Jordan Emms today, can provide the victim with some reassurance that justice has been done.
“I would encourage anyone who has been a victim of sexual abuse to contact police so that our officers can investigate. Your report will be dealt with sensitively and professionally and you will be supported throughout our investigation.”
