A man, Maidenhead Paedophile Jayren Kadamen, who transmitted sexual texts to a minor he intended to meet in Gravesend was confronted by police officers. Jayren Kadamen, 33, has been incarcerated for over six years.
His apprehension ensued after inquiry conducted by the Kent Police’s Paedophile Online Investigation Team. Jayren Kadamen transmitted a sequence of sexual messages online, intending to facilitate a meeting with the child.
Kent Police stated: “He journeyed to meet the girl on 23 October 2024, but upon his arrival with the intent to exploit her, he was apprehended by law enforcement officers.” Upon searching Jayren Kadamen’s vehicle, authorities discovered a mobile phone that contained numerous indecent photographs of minors.
“Subsequent to his arrest, he admitted guilt to multiple charges, including orchestrating or enabling the perpetration of a child sex offence and producing indecent images of minors.”
On Wednesday, January 15, Jayren Kadamen, formerly of Kingfisher Drive, Maidenhead, was sentenced to six years and four months in prison at Maidstone Crown Court. He was also subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 15 years.
Detective Constable Jess Medway, of Kent Police’s Paedophile Online Investigation Team, stated: “Investigations of this nature aim to safeguard vulnerable children by identifying individuals who seek to exploit them online.” We exert all efforts to proactively identify individuals such as Jayren Kadamen, who intend to perpetrate sexual offences against children, and guarantee they no longer present a risk to public safety.
