Subsequent to an inquiry conducted by Thames Valley Police, Hamza Javed has been incarcerated for a sexual assault in Slough.

Hamza Javed, 27, of Goodman Park, Slough, admitted to one count of sexual assault on a female at a hearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 30 November 2024.

On Friday, February 28, at Reading Crown Court, Javed was sentenced to one year and two months in prison.

In 2024, Hamza Javed targeted an elderly woman by accessing her residence in Slough while as a healthcare expert, during which he sexually abused her.

He was apprehended on 28 November and subsequently charged with the offence the next day.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Aaron Lancaster, said: “This was a horrible offence, and I am pleased that Hamza Javed has pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to prison as a result.

“He callously navigated his way into his victim’s home and took advantage of her.

“This was an incredibly distressing incident for the victim and their family and tarnishes the trust the public place in the care industry.

“The victim and her family have shown great strength and composure throughout this investigation and I will like to thank them for putting their trust in Thames Valley Police to bring Hamza Javed to justice.

“We are committed to tackling all forms of violence against women and girls and we will relentlessly pursue and prosecute offenders and put them before the courts where they belong.”
