Often staying overnight at their house, Transgender Paedophile David Orton, 25—who identified as Danielle Rose Gemini—was a family friend of the victim, 14.
The parents of the girl expressed doubts about their being in a sexual connection. This proved to be accurate when the victim started to get pregnant.
The victim resisted believing she was being groomed and sexually assaulted for some period.
Following an interview, David Orton of Willowbank Road, Hinckley, was charged with two counts of rape of a 13 to 15 age female and four counts of sexual activity (penetrative).
Found guilty on two charges of sexual activity with a 13 to 15-year-old kid, David Orton was sentenced to nine years and six months in jail. On the other four counts David Orton was declared not guilty. The MailOnline said he was referred to as a man in court and had been transported to a male prison.
Investigating officer was Detective Constable Sarah Le Boutillier. She said: “Orton not only groomed the victim but also her parents, who thought David Orton was a real friend, using her fragility for his own benefit.
“David Orton insisted throughout our interviews that there was no wrongdoing and they were indeed the victim.” The assertions turned out to be baseless.
“This was a difficult and protracted inquiry; the first report went to the police more than two years ago. The victim’s parents persisted with their worries after rejecting her first explanations.

“We are happy the victim saw she was a victim and that David Orton’s acts were not those of a friend and found the bravery to finally discuss what she had gone through.
“We hope the verdict and punishment now enables the victim to come to terms with what happened and attempt and put that time behind her. Also reassures her parents that they did the right thing by coming forward.
“We would want to comfort anyone else who could be in a similar circumstance to express their concerns; we will assist them through the procedure and hear their worries.
“We have specialist officers who can assist you every step of the way and also put you in touch with agencies who can advise and support you going forward; we know it’s not always easy to speak out.”
Judge Spencer termed David Orton “a self-pitying and self-obsessed individual who shows no detectable empathy and not a shred of remorse”.
The court said: “Those actions have destroyed a mother and daughter relationship at a time when they should have been close, caused devastation to the wider family and taken away the teenaged years of a child that cannot be re-lived.”
