Police have caught a fugitive, Daryl Taylor Paedophile, who fled while receiving treatment at Ipswich Hospital. In 2023, Daryl Taylor, 33, was found guilty of causing actual bodily injury; he is also accused of child sexual offences.
Under custody on Sunday, Daryl Taylor — of no known residence — absconded.
According to Suffolk Police, Daryl Taylor was caught following an operation near Rendlesham on Wednesday night.
Along with Daryl Taylor, two other paedophile males were arrested for helping a child sex offender.
Despite his face tattoos, Daryl Taylor was convinced he could evade arrest indefinitely.
“I want to thank the officers and staff involved in arresting Daryl Taylor this evening for their relentless efforts in locating him,” Supt Andy Martin said.
“It is right and proper that he now serves the terms of his recall and be presented to the courts on the charges against him.”
“We know that other people helped Daryl Taylor, sought for crimes related to child sexual offences and a prison recall, go undercover.
“We are aggressively seeking all information to bring those individuals to justice quickly.
“We would also want to thank public servants for their support.”
