Newcastle Paedophile Connor Behan, a former participant in the Isle of Man TT, has been incarcerated for the rape of a seven-year-old girl in Northwich.

Connor Behan, a 33-year-old resident of Heath Avenue, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, was sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment at Chester Crown Court on Friday, February 7, after being convicted in December of multiple counts of rape on a girl under the age of 13.

Connor Behan was convicted of numerous counts of sexual assault and of participating in sexual activity in the presence of a child on several occasions. He was acquitted of a further charge of sexual contact with a kid under the age of 13.

In 2022, Cheshire Police initiated an investigation into Connor Behan, who had competed in the Isle of Man TT in 2014 and 2015, along with the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix, following a statement made by the victim to a teacher at her school. It was said that he commenced the assault in 2019 when she was seven years old.

“Firstly, I would like to commend the victim for her bravery and courage demonstrated throughout this investigation and trial,” stated Cheshire Police Det Sgt Scott Graves upon Connor Behan’s conviction on 18 December 2024.

“Regrettably, there are no victors in this situation; nonetheless, I sincerely hope this outcome will afford her closure.”

I extend my gratitude to my team and all individuals who contributed to achieving this verdict; a significant effort has been dedicated to protecting the victim and other innocent youngsters from this highly dangerous sexual predator.

Connor Behan perpetrated sexual assault against his victim over an extended duration, exhibiting no remorse and consistently disputing all allegations during the investigation.

“Fortunately, the jury discerned his deceit, and he will ultimately be held accountable for his actions.”

“I trust this outcome will enable the victim to ultimately progress with her life, as Connor Behan will no longer pose a threat to her.”
