Alexander Philo-Steele, a reprehensible individual who earned the trust of a single mother before exploiting her two sons, has received a 14-year enhanced term.
Alexander Philo-Steele, 36, self-styled as the ‘Peter Pan nanny’, promoted his purported childminding services on various websites, asserting that he was a professional offering “attentive care”.
One advert read: “I am a fully-trained and experienced male nanny. I specialise in early years care, education and development.”
Alexander Philo-Steele added: “I excel at providing high standards of attentive care. I am described as nurturing, reassuring and supportive.”
In September 2017, the disgusting sex offender, Alexander Philo-Steele, befriended a mum with two young sons aged six and seven.
To gain her trust, Alexander Philo-Steele, from Earls Court, told her he had been studying for a master’s degree in childhood anthropology at Brunel University.
Alexander Philo-Steele went on to groom and sexually assault the woman’s two young boys.
A historic case of sexual assault came to light, and Alexander Philo-Steele was found guilty of abusing three victims in total.
“Alexander Philo-Steele held a sexual interest in young boys and acted upon his desires over many years,” said senior Crown prosecutor Kunal Davé.
“He preyed upon a single mother, gaining her trust by calling himself the ‘Peter Pan nanny’ and aimed to sell himself as attentive and nurturing to prospective employers.
“Alexander Philo-Steele carried out a calculated campaign where he groomed and manipulated these young boys to fulfil his sexual appetite.”
