Adrian Offer paedophile child rapist sex offender - Cardiff

A Tremorfa Paedophile Adrian Offer with a sexual attraction to children made an effort to engage in non-consensual sexual activity with a girl who was below the age of 10. This disturbing incident was reported to the police, and the victim demonstrated what had occurred using dolls.

Subsequently, Adrian Offer proceeded to inappropriately touch a teenage girl after attempting to persuade her into sharing explicit photographs of herself.

Adrian Offer, a 36-year-old resident of Cardiff, was found out when his youngest victim reported the assault to her mother. The incident caused the girl significant discomfort and made her cry. Upon being confronted, the defendant, Adrian Offer, deceitfully denied committing the offence and shifted the blame onto a member of the victim’s family. However, the jury refuted his claims and ultimately found him guilty.

During a sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, it was revealed that the defendant, Adrian Offer, attempted to rape his first victim by coercing her to straddle him, but he was unsuccessful in his attempt. Subsequently, he engaged in a sexual assault against her.

Upon confiding in her mother, the victim recounted an additional occurrence in which Adrian Offer subjected her to sexual abuse. The authorities were summoned. However, the defendant refuted the allegations.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Adrian Offer had engaged in sexual assault against a teenage girl following her disclosure to her teacher that he had fondled her breasts. In addition, he sent her texts in which he attempted to persuade her to provide explicit photographs of herself, but she declined to comply.

Adrian Offer, residing at Kirkwall Court in Tremorfa, pleaded not guilty to one charge of attempted rape of a juvenile, two charges of sexual assault, and one allegation of sexual communication with a child. However, he was ultimately convicted of all the crimes after a trial at Cardiff Crown Court. The court was informed that he had prior convictions. However, none of them was pertinent to the current case.

During the court proceedings, the mother of the young victim presented a victim’s statement in which she explained that her daughter seeks comfort from school staff and occasionally isolates herself from friends. Additionally, it was reported that she had been replicating the events that occurred to her using dolls, similar to what she had done during her police interview. According to the victim’s mother, her daughter’s conduct deteriorated and her daily routine and education were disrupted.

She stated: “This has had an impact on me and my family as well.” I have seen a decline in my mental well-being, resulting in the need for a prescription of anti-depressant medication. Additionally, I am currently experiencing insomnia. I feel remorseful for my lack of awareness and find it repulsive that (Adrian Offer) engaged in such behaviour. I fervently desire that my daughter can eradicate the events that have transpired from her memory.

The second victim expressed in her victim personal statement that she now feels secure following the arrest of Adrian Offer… The school has informed my mother that my behaviour has been noticeably changed. I am uncertain about the emotional impact it has had on me. I have developed a diminished affinity for school, so I retreat to my room instead of remaining below.

The court was informed that there was minimal mitigation to be presented on behalf of the defendant as he continued to assert his innocence and refused to accept any responsibility for his crimes.

In her sentencing, Judge Lucy Crowther characterised the actions as audacious and ongoing offences committed against two minors…Probation has assessed that you pose a significant risk of engaging in more sexual offences targeting young female youngsters. I firmly believe that you are a highly dangerous offender and pose a substantial threat to the safety and well-being of female youngsters.

Adrian Offer received a 14-year prison term and an additional four-year period of supervised release. He will spend 66.67% of the jail term before he is eligible for parole and was placed under sex offender notification requirements for the rest of his life.
