After confessing to child sex offences, a 21-year-old man, Raimondas Vimbaras Grantham Paedophile, has been imprisoned for two years. On Friday, August 9 2024, Raimondas Vimbaras of Dysart Road in Grantham turned up at Lincoln Crown Court.
He was accused of trying to encourage a young child to have sex as well as of attempting to have sexual conversations with another child.
The incidents occurred in August 2023 and July.
Raimondas Vimbaras received two years of jail term.
Raimondas Vimbaras signed up to the sex offenders register for ten years and received a sexual harm prevention order for ten years as well.
“This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated in Lincolnshire, and we will pursue all lines of enquiry to ensure perpetrators are brought to justice,” Detective Constable Stewart Humm said.
“I want to thank everyone engaged in the case for their work and the bravery of those who worked with us in trying circumstances.”
