Robert Morrison paedophile sex offender London

Robert Morrison London Paedophile, 57, a recidivist described as “depraved,” residing on Limes Avenue, was apprehended following a tip-off to the police indicating that he had been engaging in online conversations with minors who were subsequently revealed to be decoys.

Robert Morrison admitted to grooming offences at Wood Green Crown Court on March 14.

He received a three-year prison sentence from the same court on Friday, April 12.

The judge additionally mandated a five-year extended licence due to “dangerousness.”

Robert Morrison will be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.

The Metropolitan Police received complaints from an informant regarding a man communicating with “decoy” child profiles on Kik at approximately 2:30 PM on February 13.

The informant convened with officers and recognised Robert Morrison, who believed he was conversing with a 13-year-old girl.

The police discovered that Robert Morrison had incited the youngster to participate in sexual conduct and proposed a meeting at a hotel.

Police discovered a concealed phone, Wi-Fi dongles, SIM cards, and cameras in his garden at his residence.

More than 400 pages of correspondence between Robert Morrison and his victims were discovered.

The communications explicitly indicated that the decoys were minors, along with Robert Morrison’s proposition of a sustained relationship and future sexual encounters.

He was apprehended that day and transported to a police station in north London.

The police discovered that Robert Morrison had violated an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) granted in February 2018 after attending Wood Green Crown Court for three counts of producing an indecent photograph of a minor.

He received a 21-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

Robert Morrison was also convicted of attempting to meet a child for sex in the United States in October 2004. He was jailed for five years and deported after completing his sentence.

Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from North Area CID said: “Robert Morrison is a dangerous paedophile who is a clear risk to children which is demonstrated by his history of offending both here and in the United States.

“Despite restrictions being imposed through the Sexual Harm Prevention Order, he blatantly disregarded these to pursue his depraved acts. I truly hope today’s sentence sends out a clear message that predatory behaviour towards children will not be tolerated.”
