Isaac Watson - Eastbourne Paedophile

After her account of a serial sex attacker, Eastbourne Paedophile Isaac Watson, helped police produce an astonishingly exact E-fit picture, a courageous 11-year-old girl has been commended.

Over a five-year period, 24-year-old Isaac Watson conducted a string of sex assaults on five women aged between 11 and 32 in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

His youngest victim described him and enabled investigators to create a clear picture of him that was so excellent that numerous individuals called detectives used his identity.

Isaac Watson selected his victims deliberately, avoiding areas where CCTV or witnesses might be found.

Then he would dash up to them from behind, sexually abusing them beneath their clothes, catching his victims off guard. Then he bolted, leaving his victims stunned and distraught.

Sometimes Isaac Watson covered his face so his victims would not be able to recognise him, but the 11-year-old girl managed to get a decent look at him.

“When we released an E-fit of the suspect to the media and public several names were put forward,” said Detective Constable Dan Thomson.

‘The E-fit had been finished with the help of an 11-year-old girl who observed the September 2017 offence and the similarity between the E-fit and Watson is among the greatest I have seen.

This is evidence of the very young witness’s memory and descriptive capacity. Without the proof of this little girl or another public report from someone who saw the Efit in the media and contacted us to provide his name, Isaac Watson might not have been found as the criminal.

‘She also informed us that Isaac Watson had chopped his hair at the time the E-fit was released, which raised more questions about him.’

He was charged with several sexual assaults as his DNA matched that of five victims.

He has now admitted five sex attacks but disputed four others left to lie on file. Isaac Watson will register as a lifetime sex offender after eight years in jail.
