The previous doorman was employed at a transient amusement fair when it arrived at Birkenhead Road in Seacombe.
However, the “large and physically imposing” 59-year-old, Paul Long, targeted two children in distinct events on the same day.
He struck the behind of a 15-year-old girl while administering first aid, then laughed at her and pursued her.
Paul Long subsequently ensnared a second girl, aged 14, on a Waltzer ride and groped her, before confronting her father upon his arrival.
The 61-year-old resident of Huddleston Close, Woodchurch, Birkenhead, committed two offences on the evening of Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Paul Long was convicted of two counts of sexual assault following a trial during which the girls endured the distress of testifying.
Paul Long was issued a community order in January 2017 for causing death by negligent driving.
He was incarcerated for eight months for the sexual assaults.
